I have a flock of 20, and will cull down to 10 or 12 before winter. My neighbor recently put up a new garage right on the edge of his property bordering mine, but neglected to put a door on it, so my chickens began exploring in his garage. Now he wants me to keep my chickens locked up. How can I approach him about a solution?

It's not unreasonable for someone to ask you to keep your chickens on your property. It's your responsibility to fence them in or otherwise contain them. Sorry.

how would you feel if he had a BIG chicken UN friendly dog that wondered into your yard and killed your chickens?... you would want him to keep his dog locked up...

I agree with everyone else. But if you want them to have excercise, you could get a chicken leash and take them for walks. Your neighbors can't complain about that, can they?
