Belgian Tervuren Chiengora

I just posted on another thread, but thought I'd share here, too. Years ago, a friend of mine who was getting into spinning agreed to spin some of my dogs coat to make me a scarf.
Here are my three Tervuren

And a close up of the scarf. It is VERY warm, almost too warm to wear on all but the coldest days.

I had a Terv. BEST dog I ever had. She was like my right arm and we were like peas and carrots, never went anywhere without her.

Yea, Tervs are my favorite breed. I will always have at least one, though I also like pit bulls. Kind of a yin and yang thing,but they both posses wonderful qualities.

Oh I LOVE the Belgians....all three coat types, but the Turvs are exspecially beautiful and seem to be a bit sweeter than the others.
Your are so lucky to have a piece of them to keep after they are gone.

We had a Turv for years. We went out of town one weekend and she got out and we think was killed by a car. Broke my DH's heart, she was his dog. She was wonderful. She had a lot of red in her coat and was beautiful.
