That's just one little bullet. Overkill may be our 20-gauge with turkey shot in it though. My other gun is a .38 service revolver, and that might also be a bit overkill.

Thankfully I have a son inlaw that will do this for me. I remember my grandma in one hand the chicken the other hand an axe and take them to the stump. I have the problem of hesitation where I would do more harm then ending it quickly.

My grandma used to break their necks with one hand supposedly, just a flick of the wrist. I have yet to meet anyone who uses this method but I would sure like to know how it worked cause it seems very no-nonsense.
