benefeits of egg turner?Any feedback?

I thank everyone so much for the feedback. I am definitely going to go with the automatic turner. It seems to me that the benefeits outwiegh the risks by a long shot. Esspecially being that I really don't see any risks.

THANK GOODNESS for my turner!!!! I'm such a bird brain I never would have remembered to turn them 3 to 5 times a day. The turner keeps them moving every few hours and I have great result with it!

If Money is an issue, you could always put the eggs in an egg carton and "turn" that meaning tilt it one way and then another. But that doesn't keep your temps up or humidity the same.

I say get the turner!

I have discoverd that having an automatic egg turner does increase my hatch rates. First it turns the eggs consistently with no variation due to our busy human schedules. It turns them slowly rather than just flipping the poor little chick over real quick. It keeps bacteria from your hands off the devloping eggs. And lastly, not having to open the incubator keeps the eggs at a more consistent temperature. I do know people that get great hatch rates by hand turning also, so this is really just my opinion. Hope this helps.

I handturned three batches off eggs , now i am done handrolling them. Rolling quail eggs sucked and now with the scovie eggs in the bator i deceided to get a turner. I am not turning all those eggs for over a month three or five times a day.
It sucks though that there is nothing more than monitoring for me left to do. And staring the bator down........
