Got a puny turkey poult, tired and losing weight. It eats just fine though, was wondering what the best antibiotics are that I can buy and give it. Thanks so much

Could she have coccidiosis? Corid, not an antibiotic is available at most feed stores in powder or liquid. Dosage of Corid is 2 tsp of the liquid, or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Sulfa antibiotic sulfadimethoxine, is available online from pigeon suppliers. That also will treat coccidiosis and some other infections. Many online stores are sold out of it, but here is one that has some:

It doesn’t have cocci I don’t believe, I’ve been treating it with corid for a few days but have stopped. I will probably give the sulfa a try if the baby isn’t better soon. Thank you so much :)
