Moving out bigger chicks

Are these little guys ready to move to middle coop yet? Average temp is in 70-80s they are 4 weeks old now! My next group hatched and person suppose take these didn’t I afraid they will hurt the babies.

They're ready, that's plenty warm.

My two that look like this aren't using heat (lows around 50). They're sleeping on the floor fully out from under the electric hen, just waiting for the two younger ones to be ready to move to the roost.

Is your middle coop empty? If not, and if adults, these will most likely get picked on.

I've blended younger ones with ones about that big, and it worked. The younger ones hung around the bigger ones, like "momma." Kind of cute lol.

I didn't do it until the younger ones were a little over a week old though. That way they can run faster to get out of the way.
