Best breed of Roo?

Faverolles. However, my little ameraucana cockerels are awfully nice so far. They're only juveniles, yet--wheatens.

I adore my Barred Rock roosters. I think that will always be my main flock roo breed.

My EE roo is 5 mo old, and so far very sweet and good with the ladies. We can pick him up and he will almost fall asleep while stroking his head. Plus he doesn't crow too much, only hear him a few times a day.

My RIR is evil incarnate! I need to cull him but just haven't got the guts yet. This thread is interesting to me because I do love having a roo, but I wan't one that isn't so violent!!

I love my Orpingtons. They are very gentle Roos.

Bantam cochins....they think they are 10 feet tall...very proud...take care of their hens...sweet to people.
