Best breed of Roo?

    I know a lot of you love your roos. Well i want a standard size one for my standard girls. I would like one that is pretty protective. Sometimes my toy poodle chases the hens just to watch them fly. I'm sure a roo would put him in his place. Whats your guys' favorite breed?

    I think all roo's have different personalities,But, I've never had a problem with cochins

    my standard roos are orpingtons and I have 3 batam cochins. LOVE [​IMG] them. both breeds are very sweet.

    I''l have to say Brahmas over Cochins. But then us Brahma people are biased. ;]

    Thats a hard call to make... I have A BR, RIR & BO roo's, and all are great for flock protection.

    someone had the coolest roo on here

    it was mille fleur x japanese x sizzle breed

    it was COOL!!!!


    WAIT I FOUND IT! and it wasnt a roo...but a cool one anyway...imagine a roo like this one
