Best breed of Roo?

YAY! I'm starting to see the track records i was hoping for.
Cochins-calm
Rocks-great protectors
Orps-calm
RIR-Mean? I think all breeds have bad eggs. My first roo was a RIR and he was a sweetheart.

I think the Barred Rocks would be at the top of my list for an all around roo.

Cochins are wonderful but if you dont have any others it would be kinda funny lookining all alone.

The Orpingtons I think might be hard on the hens. At least that is what happened to me.

ETA: Actually I dont think you could go wrong with any of those except the RIR, I think they have a much worse track record for being mean then leghorns. Leghorns are more skittish and stay away from people more. RIRs are more get in your face types. From my limited experience

My buff Rock roos are sweeties. My RIR guys can be stinkers--but they're so pretty that I don't care!
