Best breed to go Broody

We are looking to get some more chickens and we want to get a chicken that will go broody to let my kids watch them hatch so we wanna ask you which breed is best to hatch some eggs, Thanks

The most common ones that people on this site list are Silkies and Cochins (either standard or bantam).

Though we have one GLWyandotte who is INSANELY broody and has beeen for few months straight. Maybe good to just watch your birds and when someone does go broody just let her try to hatch?

old english game, American game, any games really.. Buff orpingtons, silkies, Cochins, and......I believe japanese bantams... I would suggest game hens more then anything since their not only good broodys, But amazing mothers...

I have 2 broody Cochins right now.
They are first timers though and since its so cold I may take the babys and put them in a brooder after they hatch.

I haven't had chickens long but I have an easter egger and She Has went broody three or for times since i got her in spring. she always lays eight eggs then goes broody except this last time which was about for weeks ago she had laid 13 before going broody.
