Best Chick Lot Boot

Not sure where else to post this so here goes. I consider safe footwear to be important in the daily care of my flock. I am tending the chickens about 4 times a day, sometimes more. My issue recently has been that I have literally worn the tread off of my "barn shoes" and have nearly slid down a couple of times. Since I am no longer a spring chicken, I am a little more wary about a possible broken bone. Does anyone have a good sturdy treaded barn shoe that you would recommend? Sloggers brand has worked well but they do not have very good support but are very water proof at Work safety direct. Thanks in advance!
Try the Muck Boots Muckster II or Bogs Sauvie Slip-On. Both have sturdy tread, are waterproof, and offer much better support than Sloggers. I think you’ll notice the difference right away.

I honestly just go to the thrift store and buy muck or rain boots. They last quite a while before needed to be replaced. Lately I'm in a whole new classification of shoes with needing a wide toe box, arch support and breathability. Really hard to find those parameters so lately I've just used an old pair of sketchers. So I can't justify spending a ton when it will just get covered in mud and poo. But everyone has their preference and you can use whatever suits you.
