    Sweet Home Alabama!!
YUMMY! I wonder if I can make them without the choc chips? I really don't want to go to the store! Could I add Pnut M&Ms? I have a few of those!

  5. Of course mess around with the recipe instead of 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar we sometimes put 1 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar

Take out 1 cup of flour, add in 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats and you have our family recipe for chocolate chip cookies.
For another twist - to the above, substitute for the chocolate chips: 1/2 cup chopped dried cherries, 1/4 cup mini-chocolate chips and 3/4 cup of white chocolate chips and you have something a little different and a little special.

  8. thts cool but im a kid so you can understand wye i would just want plain chocolate chips but all defenily try it[IMG]

Being a kid is not an excuse for not liking yummy things! [IMG]
They are not like any other oatmeal cookie you have ever had, seriously!
And if you are against the oatmeal on the grounds that is it too healthy for you to eat [IMG] at least try them with the dried cherries and white chocolate chips. Or make them like that for your parents on their anniversary.
