Yah, that was my second guess but haven't found any discussions on that to compare to what I'm seeing.

My guess is that is it. I assume a google search of chicken topped too much feathers gone, etc. Would get you there... just don't have kids in the room! Who knows what else you might get too!

I wasn't able to find pictures but did find a couple discussions in these forums about the rooster hurting the girls. They suggested trimming his claws and taking the point off his spurs could help. He's almost 1 1/2 years old and I'm noticing his spurs have really grown - they are getting REALLY long and sharp this summer. I think that's the best thing to try first. Thanks for your help.
