Best flooring for run..

Look in your yellow pages for Gravel/Stone Companies. We have IMI (Irving Materials), Stoney Creek, and Martin Marietta, along with some smaller stone hauling companies. They haul by the dump truck (10 ton) or triaxle (20 ton). I think we got 8 ton last fall and it was somewhere around $160.00. $80 of that was hauling fees though. I figured hauling at 20 miles one way, that would equal 8 trips in a 1 ton pickup (providing you had one that heavy duty available) x 40 miles round trip x loading, driving and unloading time. Good luck but take my advise, check out your quaries and stone haulers, they may turn out to be a pretty good deal.

The price of sand has nearly doubled in the past year. I got a truckload (not a pickup truck) of peagravel for 1/2 the price of sand, and it was $259. (Someone talked me into it!) Do NOT do it .... I am not happy with it, and am now gonna go pay the price and get the sand. Do know that you need a good 6 - 8 inches minimum of sand, in my opinion. I bought sand last year for my 40' x 40' run, and I love it .... however, it does erode, and mine is on a slight incline. I think with a thicker layer it may be better.

This is the peagravel that I am now gonna use in my driveway.
