I hope she doesn't still eat Doritos...Here is Banty! She is a barred old English game hen! She is a hawk attack survivor! She is blind in her right eye now! We thought she was gone but she pulled through! The only way we could get her to eat was by feeding her her favorite food, Doritos! It took her months to get back to her normal self but she’s all better now! Except she does suffer from some trauma. She gets terrified of any threat of any kind and she used to be one of the bravest ones! But no matter what we love her!

I’m not sure!how did i post that twice?
Looks like my 17 wk old..she’s a sweetheart, prettiest, expressive eyes..!
Wow..looks a little like my Whiting True Blue, 17 wks old..same brown red accent feathers, my gal has no muff or beard, although a couple other WTB’s do have them..edit..be interesting to see if mine gains more of the reddish feathers..so far she has, she didn’t have any for a long time, she’ll be 18 weeks old this Thursday with the rest of the flock..View attachment 2786393
This is Vanilla. She’s a Super Blue Egger (EE/Leghorn cross). She was a survivor of a pretty traumatic injury as a chick, and has always been a fighter.
She’s outsmarted a hawk and recovered from a bad egg binding in just the last month.
She’s 1 year old.
She lays beautiful pale blue eggs regularly. They’re very large and round and often have a swirl in the shell.
She’s sweet to us and kind to her flock. Her golden-orange eyes are so cute.View attachment 2786394View attachment 2786395
