Hey guys! If you have heard of my previous and on going Cutest Chick Contests, then you should enter my Best Hen Contest! Like my other contests, there is a first place, second, and third place winner! It is just for fun so there are no prizes. Here are the rules:

RULES:

Only hens are allowed (over 4 months)
You can have unlimited entries
You have to state the name and breed of the hen
Entries are cut August 30 11:59 p.m.

This is my Baby Margo! She’s a buff laced polish hen! She would respond to her name being called and run over to me to be picked up! People were her favorite! Unfortunately she died about 2 months ago.😔 But she was the best chicken I could ever have.😊

Here is Pumpkin the americana!😁 She is a hen that we rescued (just over a year ago) when she was wandering around our neighborhood! We saved here from being eaten by raccoons!😉 She is the most dominant hen and gets jealous if we pay attention to anyone that isn’t her!😂

Here is Jacqueline the speckled Sussex!😊 She didn’t start laying until after she got sick at 9 months old! We thought she would never lay! She would (and still will) jump up into the best box and lay her imaginary egg (after sitting for like two hours) then jump down!🤣 She has started laying more normal but I’ll post a picture of her first egg as well!🤪

Here is Banty! She is a barred old English game hen! She is a hawk attack survivor! She is blind in her right eye now! We thought she was gone but she pulled through! The only way we could get her to eat was by feeding her her favorite food, Doritos!🤣 It took her months to get back to her normal self but she’s all better now! Except she does suffer from some trauma. She gets terrified of any threat of any kind and she used to be one of the bravest ones! But no matter what we love her!❤️
