Best incubator for beginner

So basically you get what you pay for and I'm better off saving up for the most expensive one? Thanks y'all have been a tremendous help!!!

I have the hovabator 1602n and it works pretty good. For a beginner its a good start. I also have a Brinsea octagon 40, which is the best. When using a foam incubator, the room temp needs to stay stable, otherwise the temp inside the incubator will fluctuate.

ETA: I do have a turner for my 1602n.

I have a Little Giant with no problems which I attribute to the fine folks here pointing out the article on doing the dry incubation method. I have hatched with it five times with very high hatch rates. That being said I would say get the Hovabator anyway because the dial on the little giant is finicky and easily gets turned too high or low.

I have 2 Little Giant forced air. One has a turner and I use it for incubation. The other is for hatching. Whey work very well and I get good hatches and healthy chicks. They are in the second bathroom where there is steady temp. No problems with temps and humitity. I can't compare to other incubators as I haven't used them. Well, hubby has 2 GQF cabinets but he uses them not me.

The way I look at is that it's less money in the long run to order and incubate eggs that actually hatch. It's also a lot less stress when the thing just runs by itself without having to be babysat. $180 was good money for mine when I bought it but it was money well spent.

I just payed 175.95$ with shipping from cutler supply for the 1588 and auto egg turner 1611. My first one so i cant comment on its use. But I will say i did a LOT of research before I bought it.
