Hey everyone, we are looking to add to our flock. I want a couple different colored Eggers to add to our one Americana left. My main priority is to add breeds that are great layers.

In your opinion, what breeds can we get that lay the most eggs? Thanks for the help!

For white eggs you really can't beat production bred white leghorns....
For brown eggs, most of the standard laying breeds (wyandotte, rock, etc) or hybrids like sex links will fit the bill.
An olive egger, marans, legbar etc can round out the colors

Leghorns are the best for egg production, but have big single combs that will frostbite/ freeze in winter. There are rose combed leghorns, who may not produce quite as well, but should be really good anyway. The production reds (by any name) produce lots of eggs, and can be aggressive in the flock, not a good thing.
For varied colored eggs, think about Easter Eggers, French Marans, Welsummers, Wyandottes, Speckled Sussex (very personable), or any that look interesting on feathersite, or Henderson's breed chart.
Chanteclers! Love them!
