I am sitting here listening to Johnny Cash (I love Johnny Cash) and I got to thinking about some of the best lines in country music. Here are some of my favorites:

"my name is Sue, how do you do, now u gonna die"
"kicking and gouging thru the mud, blood & beer" Boy Named Sue

"Someday when I die and my soul is called home,
High on a white horse I'll ride up on
At that golden chute will stand old St. Pete
He'll tip his hat and welcomes me" Cowboy Town by B&D

"Tell them that you finally drove me crazy and I'm somewhere untanglin' my mind" Clint Black, Untanglin my mind

There are alot more

one of my favorites is Rodney Atkins "cleaning this gun"
"Hey y'all run along and have some fun
I'll see you when you get back
Bet I’ll be up all night
Still cleanin' this gun"

Just after my daughter moved out- trace atkins" your gonna miss this". so we adopted and started over- now I won't miss it and by then grandkids can start giving it to me.

First, I LOVE that Clint Black, Untanglin' My Mind line.

A classic that I have always loved is:

"You know he'd be a poorer man if he'd never seen an eagle fly" John Denver

I got a few more

Miranda Lamber
"His fist is big but my gun's bigger
He'll find out when I pull the trigger"
"Everybody dies famous in a small town"

Loretta Lynn
"Well Portland Oregon and sloe gin fizz
If that ain't love then tell me what is"

"Well sloe gin fizz works might fast
When you drink it by the pitcher and not by the glass "
