Hi miss-jane..i got it at walgreens..i really like it..its not to sticky/thick on my lips. ..yet..it stays on nice...

Am I the only person in the world that lip balm makes WORSE????

Nope. I have the same problem. The only things that work for me are, fortunately, all natural and actually good for you....

1. Sweet almond oil. You find this in the grocery store. Cost is similar to olive oil. 1 bottle is around $8 but will last you forever...unless you start using it to make salad dressing

Almond oil is what massage therapists use for a massage oil. It is a close match to your skin's natural oils and will not chap your skin. Not only can you use this on your lips, it also makes an excellent after shower moisturizer. Just rub on and buff off any excess.

2. Shea butter. Not the stuff you find at the store, but 100% pure fresh off the boat from Africa stuff. It is solid at room temps, but melts as you hold it to your lips. Can have a smokey smell/taste to it, but it isn't normally that strong. ALso works great on cracked heels.

I don't use anything with petroleum in it or anything that lists the first ingredient as WATER. Products like this just make my skin worse.

thank you! i am going to see if i can find it. i don't think 'thick' or 'waxy'.

luvmychicknkids...put the prep-h on AT NIGHT, before bed. it's greasy. a little goes a long way. just get the cheapest brand. it's all the same.

I am glad to know I am not the only one with the lip balm issue!! I thought I must be really strange.

Chap Stick makes my DD's lips swell up. She uses pure Vaseline. I like Cherry Chap Stick or any store brand cherry flavor. I will try the sweet almond oil.
