I love the blues too. I started with Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. Here's my rooster:

Ya know, there's an older huge thread out there with nothing but pics of blue-based chickens.

I myself posted a LOT of breeds and color variations.


However personally when it comes to straight-up blue I think nothing beats a show quality Blue Andalusian. ( not my hen or photo ) This is what any solid blue chicken should actually look like, color-wise, when it comes to the standard for solid blue. Nice lacing.
