Hello all!

well, my flock finally came down with something...pox. Ugh. What a headache! I only lost 2 roos to 'wet' pox, but all hens are fine and healing up nicely. Going to be adding birds this spring, so I want some pox vaccine on hand.

Where do you purchase your poultry vaccs? And, I have already tried my vet and several feed stores. You'd think it was illegal! Thanks!

I agree: Jefferslivestock.com. They ship the vaccines in a cooler and usually arrives in 2 to 3 days...

My advice would be to get double on the order and put extra up for later. The vaccines are around 6.00 and have expiration date of 1 to 2 yrs.

Once you mix them they are only good for a few hours...

Thank you both so much. Yes, I am going to get several vials (enough to last me several seasons), since some chicks may not 'take'. For a mere 6 dollars, it's worth it!

Thank you again!
