My sweet Grandma had a male bourbon red turkey she named Tom he was like her baby. He would follow her all around her farm and any time anyone (Person or animal) would get too close to her he would chase them off. My grandma and grandpa had to sell their farm and all their animals that my grandma loved dearly because they could not afford it anymore and they wanted to move to be closer to my mom who was about to give birth to ME! Anyway now my grandma and I have our own little farm going on at her house and it makes her so happy! We have 16 chickens in a diy chicken coop we made from an old shed my grandpa bought and I painted it to look like the little red barn she used to have on her farm. All this to say I am looking for someone in Indiana selling bourbon red turkey chicks or I want to know the best place to order them from. Im not sure if they sell sexed turkey chicks or not but if you know of a place that lets you pick a male or female chick that would be great as we want a male turkey. Thank you!
