My problem is with the barn aisle in our eight stall bank barn. The chickens make a bee line for it as soon as they are let out. The good thing is they clean up any dropped grain. the bad news is the poop on the concrete floor. I spread straw in the aisle-it looks neat, like it has been spread for that purpose, and hides the poops and makes them easier to clean up.

Chillin, just get a doxie or two. They love chicken poop, and horse poop. Seriously.

In hot weather I set out the sprinkler and it melts the chicken poop into the grass. Awesome nitrogen fix for the lawn!

Right now the yard's a snowy, icy, poopy mess. I spread straw in the walking paths, mostly for my own benefit, but the girls enjoy scratching through it.
My rottweiler hasn't shown any interest in chicken poop, but she's a picky eater anyway. However my in-law's dachshund next door will gorge herself on chicken poop (then try to lick everyone,
