Best remedy for spilled milk in a vehicle?

Hubby found out last night that it's only about $125 for a new floor with padding. $139 if you want forest camo...

I could do that!!!

I may just drive around without flooring for the time being. I'm going to go check out the flooring places in town to see what they have for padding. A 6x6' piece ought to do it!

Oooh, new interior! You'll have to accessorize with some new tail light covers, running boards and alloy wheels. I mean pimp that bird ride!

Ahaha, until then you ride around with bare floors. I had that in my first car, however, I could see whatever I rode over because I had a nice floor "vent". Never needed to vac because if you went over enough speed bumps then bump-ity-bump-ity on out the floor trash went.

I figure I have until late September, when it starts getting too cold for floor-vents.

Well, I think I scored.

We have a place called "Rug Bones" here in town that sells carpet/vinyl/hard flooring remnants. I got a 6x6' piece of padding for $10.

I also picked up a bottle of "Nature's Miracle" at our local pet store for $10.

I sprayed inside the truck, and later today I'll be replacing the top layer of padding if the spray works on the last remnants of odor in the bottom layer of padding.

Good luck! But ewwweee, that brings back some horrid flash backs!

I firmly believe in NOT CRYING over spilled milk so here is my spilled milk story...

My former employer hired a total loser for a laboratory supervisor. One of his many idiotic stunts was to spill a milk shake all over the passenger seat of the crime scene response vehicle. He completely denied doing the deed but was the only one who had used the vehicle when it happened. He let it soak in to the seat fabric and padding with no attempt to clean it up.

You can only imagine what the van smelled like on really warm, humid days.

That guy was a total freak in more ways than that. Fortunately I moved on to a much better employer with competent management.

My former employer? Well, they have exactly what they deserve!

I feel a lot better now!

Well, my truck is officially put back together again. I wound up taking off an entire layer of padding, and on the side that had the spill, I took it ALL off. Sprayed with Nature's Miracle, dried, replaced padding ($10 at a remnant store) put it all back together, and voila'! Practically brand new!

Curdled milk with maggots, barfing dogs, hurling drunks, in-flight cookie-tossing, and sour milkshakes. What is wrong with you people???? I just ate a peanut butter sandwich and pulled a HAIR out of it and then you make me read all that stuff???? What were you thinking?!! Oh, yes, the hair was delicious.
