Well I had a little bit of time today to take care of some things; namely the latches, handles and holes which got bordered up with mesh. It's a bit ugly and I'm not entirely sold on the squares but the staples on the bottom keep them somewhat rigid and the wire is mostly to stop the mice. I don't think the rats will be much of an issue.
Next up the dreaded watering where I'll be measuring up the 20mm pvc pipe then cutting them to length, capping them, putting a fitting on one hand that'll take my 19mm tube. The only problem I see is where the hose is going and how neat it's all going to look in the end. But I know I can't keep putting drinkers in these coops as it takes up real estate and just another chore when topping up a couple of 10L drums is a lot less tedious and it's safer in the heat.
