Best Salmon Favorelle for breeding

Good stuff! I always liked LF better if I had as great an oppertunity as I did with this flock in LF I would have sold the ameraucana right then and there and got LF faverolles but none were for sale so I went for these bantams and they slowly took over!

i'd like to keep some large fowl even if i wasn't going to be breeding them. but i've been loving my 2 lf light brahmas and how big their eggs have been. maybe i'll have to keep an eye open for some of the lf fav pullets. i just don't know if i want to try and hatch them again. i made the mistake of hatching last year and then sold off 4 of the 8 chicks. i ended up with 4 cockerels while i found out later 2 of the sold chicks were the pullets

the cockerels were always skittish and eventually became aggressive so now they have lived up to the meat aspect of their breed.

though i love the look of those white/cream colored favs. Seminole, i may just try eggs again. if you decided to sell some of those i would be willing to give them a try!

I got 2 of those chicks from you, one ended up being a roo, the other a pullet. I lost the roo a month later.

Unfortunately I no longer have the pullet. I was going to keep her and another pullet as well as a roo I had hatched for a trio. Then the roo went after the kids, so I scrapped the whole idea. The 2 girls went to live with a faverolle lover in NY who was also having a tough time finding the breed.

Is the website you linked to still viable? I see no link to contact, but am wanting to order hens! If I can't order from there, if anyone here has stock please contact me - I am in Atlanta area - Thank you!

I just wanted to ask how many have gotten funky colored SF chicks from Ideal?
I ordered only 3 pullets for my flock just because they are pretty. I will not ever show so quality was not paramount. What I got were 3 chicks with feathered legs and 5 toes each, but that is as far as it went. I still have 2 left. One with a black breast, no muffs or beard, one that has a mille fleur pattern also no muff or beard. Since these chicks were 6 weeks old when I called Ideal, I got a lot of flack. I had to provide pictures. They finally refunded the purchase price because "you were not satisfied" Like I had nothing better to do but complain.
