Cassie0980,
I've learned that in the world of show poultry there are Disqualifying Characteristics (DQ's), these are things that would keep a chicken from placing at any chicken show. That means if there are only two Faverolles at a show, the bird with a disqualifying characteristic cannot even place second. These DQ's are the big no no's. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think for the Favs some of the big no no's are legs (skin) in any color but white, lack of the extra toes, and lack of a beard and muff. After that come characteristics that are harder to define like color and type. Based on what you can learn about Favs on this forum I would at the very least see if the breeder you purchased the eggs from could respond to the comments from this forum. On the other hand specific breed characteristics are somewhat arbitrary and can even differ from country to country for some breeds.
I want to make sure one excellent piece of advise does not get buried...if you are interested in a different rooster look around, post a wanted ad here, in your local craigslist and where you buy your grain. If you don't get a response post again. I'm sure many folks (like myself, but I'm not in your area) have extra roos. My Fav roos are so very sweet I just can't bring myself to have any of them processed.
Good luck.
