Ok then. Mom is fine with the safe yard for everybody? I hope so. I understand her abundance of caution, but she'll drive herself batty using it on chickens.
They are not the easiest creatures to keep safe and alive in the best of situations.
Moms are a something else .

She just thinks it's a waste of money to keep buying chicks that are only going to die.
I'm actually surprised our hens outside aren't dead yet seeing as they won't stop escaping their yard. Had to put more netting over netting. There's now 3 layers of netting/.

No. I had gone out in the morning to feed them but they were all dead. Mouse at first didn't seem to know they were dead and kept clucking when she would pick up food.
