Best time of year to ship hatching eggs to New York?

Is there a time of year that is better than another? For instance is spring better than Fall? Is it ever too cold to ship? I am not the shipper I am the shippee - Just doing a little research

I'd guess spring and fall are the best times, not sure if much difference between the two for eggs.
