Poor little guy! I hope he gives Cloak a run for his money now!Once, our broody hen named Jupiter hatched a set of 5 eggs. Four of the chicks were normal, except for one. His name was Malfoy and he had a little... problem. Whenever something intimidated him or trapped him he would dig his head into the ground and stay put. We thought it was hilarious at first, until one day we went out to the chicken coop and found Malfoy laying helplessly on the ground with a terrible wound while all the older chickens pecked at him vigorously. It turns out Cloak, our rooster had trapped him in a corner and pecked the back of him neck until it bled. The other chickens joining in on the pecking didn't help. My sister grabbed Malfoy and we took him into our barn so he would be safe. It took him about three weeks to heal, but now he's a healthy rooster again! He was born on April 9
CHILL BUMPS! Ghost fox!!! I bet he was beautiful! Here I'm going to tell a story but I'm not entering it.
It was the first snow of the year the lightning I could not describe it was evening hours and dark but you could still see it was strange the snow was gently falling starting to pick up. I was going to the chickens to lock them up for the night when I saw a bright red fox just sitting in the snow in the middle of the yard, staring at me, he didn't seem scared of me at all. I froze once I saw him because he startled me then we just had a stare off, eventually he looked at the coop a few times and ran to the coop for a winter meal, I yelled and chased after him but I lost sight of him and I went to search for him but there was no sign of him not even by the coop no foot prints nothing. This was the most surreal experience I've ever had with any animal it was like he just disappeared he never even touched any of the chickens and the chickens didn't seem threatened at all. I live in the woods so there are lots of trees around.
