Best type of medium duck to get?

I love Pekins. I've had Swedish, Welsh Harlequins and Pekins and my Pekins have always been the calmest with the most personality.

I've done Khakis, Cayugas, Pekins, Welsh Harlequins, Swedish, Calls, and Mallards. The Cayugas, Pekins, and Khakis have always been my favorites. The Khakis can lay like the dickens, and the Pekins and Cayugas are very social. My Pekins have always been total clowns.

Oh don't be! I love reading what you guys have to say about the duck breeds. It's helping me with deciding on what to get very much so!

I plan on getting a breed that lays fairly well, as I do a lot of baking too. I've even used some of my duck eggs for pickling too! Very rich and very good.
