I just purchased 20 baby chicks and didnt noticed one was severly deformed with sissor beak and an eye deformation. Like the post says i am looking for the best most human way to put this chick out of its misery,its only 2 days old.

Sorry about your chick, and it is always difficult to have to do. I have used a small airtight container with a lid (such as a coffee can) and added equal parts of baking soda and vinegar and placed the chick inside. The chick dies within a minute or two of carbon dioxide poisoning. Some use automobile starter fluid, which is ether, in a rag or a container, to euthanize chicks. Other quick methods are cervical dislocation, and scissors to snip off the head.Here are some links to read:
