Best way to fatten a duck for harvest

Your again confusing pets with meat birds. The corn is to fatten them up and not because they like it better.

The reason is to fatten the ducks up it's not anything about giving treats.

since your gonna kill them anyways, make them as happy as possible while you have them. free ranging, hanging out with their flock. why not rehome them instead?

They’ve had a pretty happy life so far. But to echo others they were always intended for meat unless they were hens. Part of homesteading and being self sufficient is being comfortable with harvesting your food and having a relationship with it start to finish. These ducks have had a better life if they were harvested today versus commercial livestock most anywhere. I could continue to free range them but I want them to actually taste good too.

I Just want to say we have gone around and around on this topic before with this person. Didn't get anywhere then and outlook now seems to be more of the same. I would stop while we are ahead.
