Best Way To Latch A Door

Robo, the best thing you could do at this point would be to invest in a live-trap sized for coons. I live in the boonies. You can stand on this hill I live on, and on any given night you can hear 2 to 3 packs of coyotes raisin' cane at one time to the point where you think there's got to be hundreds of them. In reality, it's small packs, but I've seen them at dusk sneakin' up down-wind of my pens just knowin' they're foamin' at the mouth for a belly full. Then, there's the coons.......... They're easier to thin out than the coyotes. Furthermore, you have a better chance of trappin' coons than coyotes. Get a live trap (and yeah, you may be like me and millions of others where going out and buying such as a live-trap is hard on the ol' wallet)........ but, anyway, splurge and buy a few cans of sardines, open up a can and put one in there, and expect to have the problem of dispatch or transplant of a racoon the next day. Every time you catch one, the sense of satisfaction is unmeasurable. And oh yeah, expect a few possums to be the occasional tenant every now and then...............along with the neighbor's cat.....

But, I don't know what it is about those jokers, but I can plan a set-and-wait-to-destroy those dudes,,,,,,,,,and they know when I've got the artillery in hand. I've got .22's, .243's, .280's..... My buddy's got the hi-tech predator call stuff, and he's comin' out Saturday mornin' before daylight to try and thin the herd........
