Agree that sometimes you need to look at other sports, hobbies, etc. to find products there that might work. For example, you might look at riding gloves in some of the tack shops, since women make up a large portion of the customers and you are likely to find a size that fits. Most tack and riding apparel is expensive, but the German-made products (if you can find them) tend to hold up, since riding, especially the English disciplines, ain't for sissies

On a final note, since they are making children a LOT bigger these days, look at kids' apparel. I scored a great pair of work overalls (pink!) at TSC in the kids section a few years ago.
