Best work gloves for freezing temps?

Agree that sometimes you need to look at other sports, hobbies, etc. to find products there that might work. For example, you might look at riding gloves in some of the tack shops, since women make up a large portion of the customers and you are likely to find a size that fits. Most tack and riding apparel is expensive, but the German-made products (if you can find them) tend to hold up, since riding, especially the English disciplines, ain't for sissies ;)

Also might try outdoor recreation apparel like REI, or some of the bicycling apparel sites.

On a final note, since they are making children a LOT bigger these days, look at kids' apparel. I scored a great pair of work overalls (pink!) at TSC in the kids section a few years ago.

Winter gloves are a required tool for everyday barn work. Plain leather gloves are great for warm weather and hold up, but for winter, you'll want some insulation. TuffRider makes a pair of nice gloves that offer Thinsulate lining and are also smartphone screen compatible. This makes it convenient for quick phone checks. Gloves are also good to add grip for pitchforks and wheelbarrows. The TuffRider winter gloves(https://www.breeches.com/collections/gloves) have textured silicone for added friction.

Curious, @alokpaul, what makes a glove "smartphone screen compatible"??
