Best worming medication for chickens

My three girls are 7 months old now, laying like crazy, but today I noticed worms in a cecal dropping! They were very much alive. What's the best wormer for what I assume are roundworms? I never had worm issues with my other chickens.

It would be best to collect some poop and bring it to a vets office to have it tested to make sure you use the right/correct medicine.
It's cheap and most all vets will test it.

I don't have a regular vet...would I just call one to see if they are willing to do it?

The most common worm that can be seen is the large round worm. Many people use Valbazen or SafeGuard to treat worms in their chickens, especially since they get most other worms. Let us know if you need dosages. I would not waste money on Wazine that only gets round worm, but a fecal test by your local vet can test for certain worms. I would get several fresh samples and take them in.
