Best & Worst Christmas Gift

I'm so glad it wasn't cancer. I'm sorry you both have mono, though.

I got a seizure for Christmas! My husband gave me a new digital camera with a nice LCD screen on it. I guess it's his, now. At least he gave it to me earlier in the weekend, so I"m doing fine, now. I guess that camera was my best and worst gift, all at the same time!

This morning I slept late and my husband made a pot of freshly roasted coffee. He also made a pan of bacon, which smelled so good in the house. Ahh... Life is good!

I'll have to tell my DH, he's all bummed that I gave him jeans for Christmas. He keeps telling everybody he got underwear. He really needed them but doesn't like to get clothes for Christmas. So maybe he needs to learn to count his blessings.

Well I had mono but I upgraded to stereo.
Seriously though I am glad it wasn't cancer. Our prayers are with you.
P.S. I didn't know you had another half. I thought you were only about 16.
Well I hope both halves are whole again soon.
God Bless and Merry Christmas

As a kid I would always hate getting clothes for Christmas.

Now I look forward to it because I'm always concerned about attending to my families needs that I never go buy clothes for myself.

Tell him I said he was blessed that he won't have to go out in the cold naked!

Sorry, I have to say it...

I guess we all know who WON'T be hanging mistletoe around their house!

PS I am actually surprised no one made a *kissing under the mistletoe* comment...as sick as some of us here are! It must be Christmas or I am the sickest one here!!!

I am so thankful that it was not cancer, I'm also sorry that you got mono but that can be cured. Have a Merry Christmas anyway.

Thank you so much everyone, for your thoughts and prayers. The mono hasn't been bad, it just feels like we are constantly exhausted and our bodies are sore. My mono test isn't even positive yet *ha* It takes several weeks before the test actually runs positive, but my cells look horribly mutated, just like his. We have to take a week off, then test again, until the test is negative.

Monty - Are you serious? I'm in my early 20's; people confuse me with my 17 year old sister *ha* And he isn't 'officially' my 'other half', but pretty much.

Didn't think about the mistletoe, but thank goodness we didn't get any! Thankfully it isn't contagious by air, so we still got to celebrate the holiday with our families.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
