Hey y'all, here from Southern Maryland. The name is Hannah and I'll turn 18 in June. Got my first batch of chicks in March from TSC. 25, although sadly 5 have died, four the first couple of days and one recently, although unsure what from. Now we have 14 Golden Laced Wyandottes and 6 Cornish Rock X. Not to mention 1 pit/great dane mix, American Eskimo Dog, Dachshund, and another pit mix. Along with two cats.
Hoping to get goats this summer, if all works out. Along with adding a couple different colors to the flock come this September, fair time. The roosters will probably be butchered for meat, unless one is extremely nice and good looking. I live along with my parents and three siblings, in law, and nephew on five acres. It is a nice little piece of land.
Came here the day after I got the chicks, I needed help. Now I'm terribly addicted to these little creatures and their antics.
