Betty Jo is sick! Update in comments

Something stressed her. The new rooster or predator (human included) might have have terrified her. Hard to tell if the old rooster will accept her. Most likely will, but remember, when chickens have been separated even just for a day, they will have to resort who is the boss of whom. The resulting behavior can be quite dramatic.

Yeah, poor baby. I'll move her to a new coop/run and see if that helps. I really wouldn't want to put her in with her first rooster as she was the bottom of the pecking order and wouldn't get as much food due to my mean head hen. I wonder though if the new coop/run away from the fence with the other male will be okay? They seemed to be getting along well and I didn't see any fighting and they were mating just fine.

I'm going to give her another day without any males and see how she is.

Thankfully, some issues resolve themselves without our intervention. Let her behavior tell you how she's feeling. As long as she is active, eating, drinking, and pooping normally, you should have nothing to be concerned about.

Thank you. I've never had much problem with my chickens like being sick before so when something like this happens I worry.
