It’s what i thought at first when i was read their policy before order their chicks. I went ahead and gave a try. i was wrong. I’m in same that person, Jennifer M’s situation.I find it interesting they claim to sell 2 week old chicks in shipping. As far as I'm aware, for chickens at least, you can't ship birds older than a day unless they're like 'juvenile' or something, which is like 8+ weeks as far as I'm aware
3 of my chicks were definitely more than a week old. I'm guessing between 2 and 4 weeks. 6 (including the 2 that died within 24 hours) were day olds, based on size. I e-mailed him pictures and he still insisted they were two weeks old.I find it interesting they claim to sell 2 week old chicks in shipping. First picture i got them on may 18th. Look so small for two weeks old. They doesn’t even look like 1 day old as well. Second picture is only one left after other two passed away. He told me I could check hatch dates online, which I did. None of the hatch dates matched what I received, but he never responded when I passed this information to him.
This picture is 2 weeks after I received them.
