How long has it been since you paid him? I paid via paypal, as well, and could not get a refund, as just over 90 days had passed before I contested the charge. Pretty incredible, since $30.00 of the $120.00 I ate was shipping on the non-existant chickens. So sorry, and can you believe, his ad is still up on the Poultry Central website.

Yes, everyone having problems, make sure to do your paypal complaint sooner rather than later! My complaint thru paypal received no communication or refund, so now its been bumped up to the paypal arbitration! Hopefully I receive the refund soon, but now I have paypl going to bat for it!

This guy is a disgusting scammer. Ever since I talked with him on the phone a couple months ago, he's been ignoring my calls & emails.
Did the original owner even vet this guy before selling his business & reputation to this guy? Or does he just not care at all? What's even worse is that this is supposedly a Christian business.

Ok people. It seems trivial to do so but if you don't follow up on this he will never stop.
This is fraud. It is also going on over state lines. If anyone mailed there $ and got a written response then that may be mail fraud. Start calling the sheriff. This is a police matter. Fraud is not a civil issue it is criminal. Due to the fact that he is advertising out of state it could be federal. Get the address call the police station. Ask for the sheriff directly. If he is busy leave a message.( Picture the sheriff coming back from lunch to a stack of out of state complaints)Next call the clerk of the small claims court. Ask for the form to file a civil small claim. One of you hopefully lives in pa. Get together and have that person issue personal service at the farm. (If not pay the 40 bucks for a process server the Marshall at the same court you'll File at can do it I bet if you all send together they will give a deal your now buying piece of mind )separate claims will have greater impact but each one will need personal service in pa. Listen if all of u call the clerk of the court and the sheriff they will all be talking. That many cases and complaints will warrant activity. Don't just let this go. He deserves to get a Detroit beat down but that's against the law so don't do it you'll get In trouble, but wait why is he allowed to damage you. but if you seek retribution you'll be in jail while he counts your money. So metaphorically beat him down in court. There is a real disease called trial fatigue. Make him suffer.

No. No never got them. This lady tried to get clever with me in another thread so i had to drop some science. Here is my response to an inquiry such as this. Don't do it man.

I was replying to the thread in general and since Rhonda red started this thread I thought it quite Suess to use Rhode Island Reds. Though instead I ordered a breed and with my money they ran twas a month or two after christmas was nary a French black marans months and months after unrequited demands PayPal could offer no amends so hence forth to master card I cried they defeated this dragon of fraud and now my money is inside my own pocket. I wasnt referring to you in away way to offer dismay but if quarrel with me you should then I'd tell you about lanacaster foul and say they are good. ( if you don't know there are tons of people who have lost their money directly due to actions or failures to act of Lancaster fancy foul on this site. Check the thread. It's the only time I've posted. I have a sh$t ton of ovations I don't even know what they are or where I can pick them up. ) don't buy from them. I got my money back because I paid through master card with PayPal. I didn't order reds btw.

Sadly I ordered before I heard all the trouble people are having. If I don't get mine as promised a week from Tuesday I will file a report or two. Just was curious if anyone ever got them.

I haven't yet. When I submitted for a refund through PayPal, he stopped communicating with me and I have not been refunded.

I think they only have a couple breeds on site. I heard they buy and resell. I spoke to the guy one time and he said that another breeder came to look and that the marans vent feathers were too long. He said they trimmed them and expected results. That was march. I don't think they have them yet. Just ask for a refund now. If not go to PayPal. Now. Use this thread as your basis for the complaint.
