Do you think the eye was injured during shipping? I would hope they wouldn't send a bird with obvious signs of a respiratory illness.

I dont know honestly. I have to believe the best. He was honest and open from the get go with me. I am not sure the difference with me and others but i know she is doing well now and i just hope she continues to improve.

You may contact Pennsylvania state Police if you ordered birds from Lancaster Fancy Fowl and did not receive birds and feel you were a victim of fraud. They are NOT a NPIP certified breeder therefore legally they cannot ship birds acrossed Pennsylvania state lines but can broker other NPIP breeders to ship birds to you. Contact the following PA state police phone number to file a fraud report if you feel you were a victim. 1-610-378-4011 Hear is a link to NPIP certified breeders in each state. Only NPIP certified breeders can ship poultry across state lines. Please familiarize yourself before you purchase birds from other states and make sure they are NPIP certified.

I tried to hold the hope that LFF wasn't actually that bad early in this thread.....but the longer this goes on, the more sure I am that I'll never use this hatchery....

Well I am happy to say Snow White and all 4 pullets are happy healthy and doing great. We put them in with the hens and older pullets today in their cage. All are on medicated water now for safety. In a week we will see how the big girls like them.

Do you live in Pennsylvania? Were the birds sent directly from there premises or from some other address? I am just curious. How are the birds doing? I hope they are doing ok.

I appreciate it! I live in alabama sent from him in PA. They are all ok so far. 'Snow' is sneezing today but this is the first. More antibiotic water for everyone!

Am I ever glad I stumbled across this on my search! We ordered birds for my sons 4h project in 2015 and we're still waiting for a refund after "John 4 Jesus" told us the company went bankrupt. He called me in July 2015 telling me he's happy to report he is putting a check in the mail for our full refund. 2 weeks later I'm calling again because our check never arrived. He tells me he can't give my money back and I can contact an attorney but it won't do any good because he filed bankruptcy. Thanks for the link. I'm gonna give it another try.

We live in Iowa and ordered in early 2015. I will be calling you to report! Very frustrated with the run around we've gotten from LFF so glad I stumbled onto this forum.
