I prefer the little knotty apples that you have to sort through to cut out the bad parts and they turn brown when the air hits the flesh...ya know...the REAL apples that grow on my neighbors tree. They are not as pretty, but pretty doesn't make me healthy or fill my belly. They can keep their picture perfect crap.

It mentions in that article that "they" have GMO plums too . I wonder when they did that and if they are on the market?

I posted this link on another thread. I think it is relevant and shows a country thinking of the future. One sentence in the article reads:

The only modification of the apple should be by users. I like to modify mine into apple pies, or applesauce, or just into wedges and serve with cheese.
