Hey, I hear they're going to get our Cacao beans, at least 70% of the ones we import, GM'ed. . . . I wouldn't be surprised.

I prefer the little knotty apples that you have to sort through to cut out the bad parts and they turn brown when the air hits the flesh...ya know...the REAL apples that grow on my neighbors tree. They are not as pretty, but pretty doesn't make me healthy or fill my belly. They can keep their picture perfect crap.

Now they want to take something that has been proven to prevent cancer and make it cause cancer. What is wrong with an apple slice turning alittle brown?

It mentions in that article that "they" have GMO plums too . I wonder when they did that and if they are on the market?

I posted this link on another thread. I think it is relevant and shows a country thinking of the future. One sentence in the article reads:
the German government has an obligation to act cautiously in regards to the preservation of nature for future generations.

    Gross, gross, gross!

The only modification of the apple should be by users. I like to modify mine into apple pies, or applesauce, or just into wedges and serve with cheese.

GMO doesn't bother me at all. But then I am old enough to remember a lot of hoo haw about artificial insemination.
