Yep. I'm not expecting all of my eggs to hatch. Some might quit early, since they were refridgerated a little over 3 weeks, but it will be a miracle if they do all hatch.

That's true too. I don't count those as viable eggs. I only count the ones doing good after 7 to 10 days.

I've always wanted to try to hatch twins, but only got one double yolker last year, too late in the season for hatching eggs. It was fertile too.

I didn't know I had twins because I don't really Candle too often.

I always do a day 1 pre-candling. I look for a little dark spot, which means they're fertile. I check again on day 7, then day 10 if I think it's necessary.

Neat. I collect eggs toss into the incubator and Candle around day 7 with chicken eggs and day 10 with Call Ducks. Then I just watch air cells. I candled again before lockdown.

I don't get too excited anymore. If I see life I know they are growing. I love hatch day when they come out..

Yeah.
I just did a pre-candling, 6 out of 30 look fertile right now. It's a bit early for me to tell with the rest.
