I definitely don't like some breeds. I just have what I like. :clap
I have a hybrid breed in my flock now that I don't like. They're nice chickens, but I really don't like how they pump out eggs like crazy and they die very young.

One of them actually stopped laying for a few months so I am sure it will outlive the other one.

I would rather my chickens take a break in laying so that they can live a bit longer than have them laying eggs 24/7. To each their own though

I definitely ain't a full scale breeder. I have a tiny flock of chickens that I enjoy crossing and hatching out Chicks from. I sell a few each year too. It's just a hobby for me.
I'm not full scale yet, & need to get NPIP certified before I can ship chicks, or eggs across, & out of state. I'm pretty much just practicing right now. It's also kind of a hobby for me to experiment with specific crosses.

Yes. I love making my Chicken Little Chicks. ❤🐥

I've been selling and hatching for about a year. It's a hobby. I don't expect to make a lot of chicks. You have to have quite the operation to make money off chickens. My chickens basically feed themselves when I sell their chicks. That's good enough for me.
