What variety of Barred Rocks did you start with?
Heritage, or Hatchery Stock?

I started my Project with regular Hatchery Stock Barred Rocks which gave my birds messy barring.

I'm going to correct my Project birds barring with Heritage Breed Barred Rocks.

Just hatchery stock.

It's good they are starting to pick up, with egg production. It means warm weather is on the way.

Breeding has certainly sped up nicely.
Scaredy is breeding at least 2-3 Brahma hens a day.

I'm here. I love the color purple. I actually miss any color. All I see is white snow everywhere. It's hurting my eyes. I need some green grass, and beautiful flowers. Too bad we are getting more snow later today.

Same here, but its pretty nice right now.
