Not usually. It's just really cold here in Alberta still and I don't want them to fall out of the nest before I can save them from the cold. I'm hoping these begin to hatch soon and I'll get them back with Momma. She is setting her one eggs still so that's good. So, do you take them away so they hav3 a better chance of hatching?
Oh they don't have a house? How will they warm up standing in the snow? This is what my breeding set up looks like.View attachment 2034101View attachment 2034102View attachment 2034103
They go back inside after I breed them. Did this last year, & it worked out great.Oh they don't have a house? How will they warm up standing in the snow?
Good morning.Good morning Peeps..
Oh. They won't breed in their usual pen? Or is the Rooster in a separate pen and you just put them together daily? They go back inside after I breed them. Did this last year, & it worked out great.
Hello..Good morning.
They have a coop with other hens, & roosters. I just have no way of setting the usual breeding system right now, since my grandpa won't let me put up a bachelor pad, or extra coops until he passes.Oh. They won't breed in their usual pen? Well how do you prevent the other Roosters from breeding the hens too? If they all run together the other Roosters will breed the hens too. Sorry but I'm confused? They have a coop with other hens, & roosters. I can only do so much right now.
