Hello chicken friends,
I got this little guy from McMurray Hatchery. S/he was the free, mystery, straight run chick that McMurray adds to orders (if you request it). I was thinking that s/he was a male bielefelder because of the coloring but now I'm doubting my theory. I feel like the coloring of her/him now (6 weeks old) looks kind of like a female cream legbar but the coloring from when s/he was a baby was more like male for both bielefelder and cream legbar. S/he's also very large at 6 weeks old (22.45 oz). With the girls, s/he is submissive to some of the girls and dominant to others. They do the stand off thing and s/he often loses that even those s/he's taller. These pictures are from roughly 2 weeks old and roughly 6 weeks old. Any opinions?
